Jimmy Dean Wilson

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Jimmy Dean Wilson, age 79 of Cleveland. Mr. Wilson passed away Monday, January 03, 2011 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Mr. Wilson was born in Dalton, Georgia to the late Arthur James Wilson and Inez Lillie Gibson Wilson. Mr. Wilson graduated from University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. He served both in Korea in the U.S. Army and in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force. He was the superintendent of Orange County Public Utilities for 20 years. He moved from Orlando, Florida to Cleveland in March of 2009. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by parents and his brother Danny Gibson. He was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center

Survivors include his wife Joyce Wilson, Cleveland; son and daughter in law Jimmy Dean and Keri Wilson Jr, Orlando, Florida; and grandchildren Olivia Lavonne Wilson and Rebecca Ann Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the Harvest Time Worship Center Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled to immediately follow visitation at the Harvest Time Worship Center at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert Highsmith officiating.
