Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church for Fred Alvin Stephens, 83. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joy Fredina Parrish Stephens, a son and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his daughters; Marie Elrod, Oba Dowdy, Patricia Purkey, Kim Haley, Sons; Robert Stephens, Alvin "Buck" Stephens, Jr., Terry Stephens, Darrell Stephens, grandchildren and other relatives.
