Perry L. Cook

Mr. Perry L. Cook, age 78, of Cumming, GA, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Cook was born in Dodge County, GA and had lived in Forsyth County since 1977. He was retired from Crown Central Petroleum Company with over 25 years service. He was a Christian and loved to attend churches of all denominations.

Perry was the son of the late Clovis Cook and Myrtie Moore Cook and was also preceded in death by a sister, Javene Prince; and a daughter-in-law, Star Johnson Cook.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Cook, Cumming, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Perry Cook Junior and his wife Tina, North Carolina, Trent cook and his wife, Brooke, Dahlonega, GA, Brandon Cook and his wife, Sandy, Dawsonville, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Theresa and Doug Rose, Fruitland Park, Florida, Beverly Watts, Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Rose, Sherri Rose, Lindsey Cook, Mark Watts, Lindsey Strobel, Zane Watts, Lauren, Chris, Alicia, Cameron, and Cody Cook, Mary Christine, Brittney, Ashley, and Alex Cook; great-grandchildren, Ashley Strobel, Dakota Nizar, and Deziree Moore. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Cook are scheduled for 3 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Eddie Cain will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 11 AM until 3 PM.
