Jackie Nix

Jackie Nix, age 70, of Cumming, passed away December 21, 2010. She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a member of Roanoke Baptist Church.

Jackie is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Winford Nix; parents, Marvin and Estelle Barrett; grandson, Matthew Gravitt and sister, MaryJean Holbrook.

Jackie is survived by her children, Elaine and Tim Gravitt of Cumming, Rita and Harold Hansard of Dawsonville, Vicki and Jack Morris of Dahlonega, Kevin and Katie Nix of Cumming; grandchildren, Adam Gravitt, Amy Adams, Alyssa Tyler, Josh Allen, Caleb and Joseph Nix, Trampas and Levi Hansard; great grandchildren, Nathan and Zachary Tyler; 3 sisters, Joann Daniel, Sandra Daniel, Linda Tallant and numerous loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Roanoke Baptist Church with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Clark Watson and Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 24, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service .
