William "Billy" Ledger Palmer

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of William "Billy" Ledger Palmer, age 57 of Cleveland. Mr. Palmer passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am; Thursday, December 23, 2010 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Sargent officiating, interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park Cemetery in Cleveland.

Mr. Palmer was born in Hall County on July 21, 1953 to the late Vance Palmer and Addie Mae Stover Palmer. He was a member of Harvest Assembly of God and an employee of Magnolia Windows and Doors. In addition to his parents, Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Palmer and son Craig Palmer.

Survivors include his wife Renee Lewallen Palmer, son, Wesley Palmer of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law Jason and Kaylin Palmer of Oakwood, daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Blake Bernier of Hull, daughter Amy Gaddis and Jason Mincey of Dahlonega; brother Wilburn Palmer of Gainesville, sister Louella Chambers of Flowery Branch; grandchildren Kayla and Dakota Gaddis, Aiden Palmer, and Noel Bernier.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday the 22th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
