Mrs. Lucille Crowe Turk, 92

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Crowe Turk age 92 of Dahlonega formerly of Chestnut Mountain will be held Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home 2030 Memorial Park Rd. The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 21, 2010 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Funeral Home.



Mrs. Turk passed away on Sunday December 19th, 2010 following an sudden illness. The Rev. Stacy Phillips will officiate the service with interment to follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. Turk was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church formerly a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church where she served as the pianist and organist for years. Mrs. Turk was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ida Sailers Crowe, Husband, Hammond Turk, Sisters, Beuna Hutchins, Stella Small, Nellie McDonald, Verna Tanner and Alene Jackson, Brothers, Hoyt Crowe and Hubert Crowe.

Mrs. Turk is survived by her Son and Daughter in Law, Lamar and Lisa Turk, Dahlonega, Daughter and Son in Law, Florence and Rickey Tumlin. Grandchildren, Mark and Dawn Hand, San Antonio, Renee and Brad Morris, Maysville and Jackson Culpepper, Jefferson. Great Grandchildren, Scott, Steven and Katie Hand, William, Texys and Bradford Morris. Also a number of nieces and nephews also survive.



In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Eagle Ranch P.O. 7200 Chestnut Mountain, Georgia 30502-0500.
