Alice Sue Harris Jarrard

Funeral services for Alice Sue Harris Jarrard, age 93, of Clarkesville, will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Kenneth McEntire will officiate with burial to follow the service in Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Jarrard passed away Friday, December 17, 2010.

Born on December 6, 1917 in Habersham County, Mrs. Jarrard was the daughter of the late Luther and Ruth Harris. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jarrard is preceded in death by her husband Loyd Jarrard, son Philip Jarrard, daughter Joann Bowen, sisters Fannie Landers, Coralee Minyard, and Mamie Moody, and brothers Walter Harris and L. J. Harris.

Survivors include daughters and sons in law Becky and Ken Phillips of Cornelia and Teresa and DeWitt Todd of Mr. Airy, son and daughter in law Bill and Frances Jarrard of Clarkesville, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19, 2010, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
