Helen Marie McCort Miller

Memorial services for Helen Marie McCort Miller, age 85, of Demorest, will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at 3:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Dr. Bill Cashion and Rev. Malcolm Cash will officiate and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 1PM until 3PM.

Mrs. Miller passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at her residence.

Born on July 10, 1925 in Freedon, Ohio, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Phillip J. and Helen Marie Young McCort Stackhouse. She was retired from Habersham Medical Center where she worked in the office. Mrs. Miller was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Alton Miller, son Timothy L. Miller, Sr, brother Pat McCort and sisters Mary and Peggy McCort.

Survivors include daughter in law Trish Miller of Demorest, grandson Timothy L. Miller, Jr. of Demorest, granddaughter Stephanie Waters and husband Kevin of Baldwin, great granddaughters Madison H. Miller and Schyler A. Miller of Demorest, special great grandson Gage E. Church of Clarkesville, brother Don McCort of Tucson, Arizona, and sister Colleen Rokus of Vienna, Ohio.
