Robert Milton "Milt" Walton, 82, of Hoschton, GA, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, GA.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Pope's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Tignall, GA where he will be interred. Pastor Carey Gibson will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Mr. Walton was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Mack Richard and Lallette Bufford Walton. He was a graduate of Wilkes County High and LeTourneau Machinist School. Mr. Walton retired from Peachtree Windows and Doors of Norcross and Gainesville. Mr. Walton was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Jefferson, GA.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sybil Denard Walton of Hoschton, GA; three daughters, Beverly Walton Kingsley of Norcross, GA, Suzanne Walton Ammons and her husband Bryan of Flowery Branch, GA, Janet Walton Smith, and her husband Leonard of Braselton, GA; four grandchildren, Talia Smith Kline of Braselton, Joel Patrick Ammons of Flowery Branch, GA, Joshua D. Kingsley of Warner Robins, GA, and Maxwell Alexander Kingsley of Norcross, GA; four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Walton was preceded in death by two grandsons, Nicholas Bryan Ammons and Shane Curtis Smith.
