J.C. Gibson

Private Services are scheduled for Mr. J.C. Gibson age 73 of Gainesville, GA he passed away Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, GA following an extended illness.

Mr. Gibson was born in England, Arkansas to the late Elmer Gibson and Ada Mae Evans Gibson. He was retired from General Motors and after retirement he worked for Peach State Trucking. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Saganaw, Michigan and he also served in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his son James Curtis Gibson.

Survivors include his Wife of 54 years Marilyn Gibson, Gainesville, Son and Daughter in law Jeff and Barb Gibson, Fenton, Michigan, Daughter and Son in law Staci Gibson and Brian Beard, Dahlonega, GA, Brother Elmer Troy Gibson, Blissfield, Michigan, Sister Virginia Brown, Flint, Michigan, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and a special friend Stan Shaw of Flint, Michigan.
