Walter Vincent Donovan

Memorial services for Walter Vincent Donovan, age 79, of Clarkesville will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Mark Major officiating.

Mr. Donovan passed away at his residence on December 13, 2010.

Born on March 12, 1931 in Jamaica Long Island, New York, Mr. Donovan was the son of the late George and Genevieve Ferri Donovan. He was employed by Equipco, Inc. where he was a heavy equipment mechanic. Mr. Donovan enjoyed spending time with his family and he also was an avid woodworker in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife Irene Donovan of Clarkesville, son and daughter in law Walter and Kari Donovan of Bayville, NJ daughter and son in law Laura and James Ryckman of Edison, NJ, sister and brother in law Barbara J. and James P. Keelen, Jr. of Clarkesville, and several nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
