Stephen William "Steve" Gulley

Stephen William "Steve" Gulley, age 49, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on April 15, 1961, he was the son of Betty Harris Fry and the late Clyde Gulley. He was of the Baptist faith and formerly employed by Carter's Machine Shop in Toccoa. Steve was an avid NASCAR fan and he enjoyed camping. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his step father, Rennie Fry and William Stephens.
Surviving are mother, Betty Fry of Mt. Airy; sisters, Maxine Fry of Cleveland and Judy Roberts of Mt. Airy; brother, Larry Gulley of Mt. Airy; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene & Milton Wilson of Mt. Airy; nieces and nephews, Tarra Jackson, Kayla Wilson, Jordan Roberts and Amber Gulley; special cousins, Beverly Pritchett of Mt. Airy and Jean Palmer of Cleveland.
Funeral services are 4:00 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Tuesday. The family is at the residence.
