Boyd Michael Jordan

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Boyd Michael Jordan, age 65, of Maysville, who passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Mr. Jordan was born on February 18, 1945, in Commerce, GA, a son to the late Mr. Erastus Jordan and Mrs. Mildred Doss Jordan of Maysville. Mr. Jordan was a retired Heavy Equipment operator and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Erastus Jordan and his brother in law, Pat Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cole Jordan, Maysville, mother, Mildred Doss Jordan, Maysville, sisters and brother in law, Polly and Hillyer Godfrey, Maysville, Melodee Hall, Maysville, nephews, Keith and Kyle Hall, nieces, Michelle Madden, Marie Godfrey, a very special grand nephew and grand niece, Patrick Madden and Ariel Hall, a very special relative, Carson Legg.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Randolph Jones officiating.The burial will follow in the Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery with Danny Anderson, Nolan Pritchett, Tyler Lee, Randy Doss, Shane Pritchett, Jeff Lee, James Lyle and Robin Jordan honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec 9, 2010 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
