Guy M. Allen

Funeral services for Guy M. Allen, age 62, of Clarkesville will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 3, 2010 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Paris Whitworth will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Allen passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010.

Born February 7, 1948 in Habersham County, Mr. Allen was the son of Alice Rider Allen and the late Fulton Allen. Mr. Allen was employed by the Habersham County Road Department. In addition to his father, Mr. Allen is preceded in death by a sister Linda Pitts.

Survivors include his mother Mrs. Alice rider Allen of Demorest, daughter and son in law Leigh and Neal Pollitt of Clarkesville, son William Douglas Allen of Clarkesville, sisters Debbie Taylor of Demorest and Barbara Jean Cheek of Toccoa, as well as seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
