Grace Gaultney Joyner

Mrs. Grace Gaultney Joyner, 96 of Gainesville died Tuesday November 30, 2010 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a long period of declining health.
Born in Roberta, Georgia, Mrs. Joyner was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Minnie P. Wilson Gaultney. She was a former resident of Tucker, Georgia and Ft. Valley, Ga. before moving to Gainesville 5 years ago. She was retired from Robbins Air Force Base where she worked as a accounting clerk. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Valley.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Lawrence E. and Patsy Joyner, Gainesville; David W. and Drucilla Joyner, Clermont; six grandchildren eight great grandchildren and one niece.
Mrs. Joyner is preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn C. Joyner; son, Robert Franklin Joyner; brother, William Benjamin Gaultney; and sister Annie Maude Kirkland.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 3, 2010 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, Ga. The Rev. Jeff Jordan of the First Baptist Church of Fort Valley will officiate.
