Shelby Jean Veal

Shelby Jean Veal, age 62 of Alto, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. John Abernathy will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 9 am till 12:00 noon funeral hour.

Mrs. Veal was born December 6, 1947 in Oconee, South Carolina to the late Mary Louise Whitfield. She retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Alto, Georgia.

Mrs. Veal is survived by her daughters & sons-in-laws, Louise & Jeffery Davis of Alto and Kathy & Jeff Johnston of Jacksonville, Florida and daughter, Ella Perez of Gainesville.
