Mildred Louise Walker Brown

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Mildred Louise Walker Brown, 70, of Gainesville. The Rev. Doug Tritt and Rev. Ralph Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Brown passed away on Saturday, November 20th following a sudden illness.
Born in Hoschton, GA she was the daughter of the late Howard Pledger and Grace Porter Walker. She was retired from Town View Laundry.

In addition to her partents she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wesley Brown.

Mrs. Brown is survived her daughter and son in law, Bernice and Michael Nelson of Ellijay, daughters, Doris Brown and Paula Brown both of Gainesville; sisters and brothers in law, Movine and Billy Wingo and Marie and john Orr both of Gainesville. Grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Chrisse Nelson, James Broome, Jr. and Jesse Broome and Chad Brown who Mrs. Brown raised.

Little & Davenport Funeral Home 355 Dawsonville Hwy is in charge of arrangements.
