Andrew "A.V." Turner

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday November 22 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Andrew "A.V." Turner age 94 of Lula. The Rev. Wayne Strickland will officiate. Interment will follow in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. Turner passed away Friday November 19, at his residence.

Mr. Turner was born in Hall County to the late James Turner and Viola Buffington Turner. He had worked for General Motors for 31 years and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he was the oldest member. He was preceded in death by his first wife Erline Buffington and 6 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his Wife Julia Turner, Lula, Son Richard Turner, Tennessee, Son and Daughter-in-law Jerry and Loretta Turner, Michigan, Step-Son and Wife Tim and Jeanine Faust, South Carolina, Daughters and Sons-in-law Patricia and Ernie Tyvaert, Michigan, Robin and Mike Wood, Canada, Sister Vernell Tanner, Gainesville, 22 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.
