Mike H. Wilder

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mike H. Wilder, 58, of Athens, who died on Thursday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Commerce, he was the son of the late Herman and Bertha M. Luthi Wilder. Survivors include his girlfriend, Christy Nicholson of Athens; children, Jerry Wilder of Commerce and Michael Wilder of Banks County; brothers, Jerry Wilder of Commerce; sister, Emily Richey of Commerce; 7 grandchildren. Graveside funeral services and interment for Mike Wilder will be conducted on Saturday at 1 a.m. from the Howington Cemetery in Nicholson with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday until the time of service.
