Van Thomas Langdon

Van Thomas Langdon, 71, of Cumming, GA died on November 14, 2010. Born in San Pedro, CA, he was the son of the late Van Langdon and Jennie Mershon.

Van was an alumni of Virginia Military Institute and served in the US Naval Reserves. He retired as an engineering designer. Van was an avid sports fan and hunter who loved to read and was a history buff.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeri C. Langdon of Cumming, GA; daughter, Laurie Love of Atlanta, GA; son, John Paul Langdon of Atlanta, GA; stepfather, William Randall Mershon of Portsmouth, RI; sister, Diana Langdon of West Warwick, RI; and brother, Victor Langdon of Thailand.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 20 from 1:00
