John Sullivan 'J.S." Chastain

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. John Sullivan 'J.S." Chastain, age 80 of Cleveland. Mr. Chastain passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mr. Chastain was born in Clay County, North Carolina on July 6, 1930 to the late Marlon Chastain and Mae Gibson Chastain . He was a retried Master Carpenter and had been self employed for several years

Mr. Chastain is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Chastain.

Survivors include his wife, Burma Chastain, Cleveland; sons and daughters in law, Gary and Martha Chastain, Sautee; John and Elaine Chastain, Sautee and son, David Chastain, Young Harris; daughter and son in law, Victoria and Richard Watson, Old Town, Florida and brothers, Vaughn Chastain of Robertstown and Eugene Chastain of Cleveland. Mr Chastain is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
