Sara Brown Skelton

Funeral Home announces the death Mrs. Sara Brown Skelton, age 90, of Hoschton, who passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. Mrs. Skelton was born September 24, 1920, in Habersham County, GA, a daughter to the late Mr. Marion Charleston Brown and the late Mrs. Omie Dean Brown. Mrs. Skelton was a Weaver at the Jefferson Mills and was a member of the White Plains Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Skelton and her seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughters and son in laws, Doris and James Lord, Gainesville, Dottie and Allan Garrison, Flowery Branch, sons and daughter in laws, Donald and Francis Skelton, Hoschton, David and Jeannette Skelton, Jefferson, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the burial to follow in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
