Robert Edward Holbrook

Mr. Robert Edward Holbrook, age 71, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at VA Medical Center. Mr. Holbrook was born in Franklin County, OH to the late Morton and Hattie Rogers Holbrook. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Holbrook was a retired concrete contractor.

Mr. Holbrook is survived by his wife, Nancy Sue Wilson Holbrook of Commerce, GA; daughters, Tangee Glass of Homer, GA and Robin Thurston of Orlando, FL; son, Nick Dougherty of OH, brothers, George W. Holbrook of Alexandria, OH and John W. Holbrook of Johnstown, OH; sisters, Martha L. Adams of Pickerington, OH and Alka Fitzpatrick of Grove Port, OH; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 10 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. John Wood and Rev. Jeff Appling officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5 to 7 PM.
