Betty Gipson Atkinson

Mrs. Betty Gipson Atkinson, age 70, of Jefferson, GA died Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Mrs. Atkinson was born in Commerce, GA to the late, Earl and Viola Garrison Gipson. Mrs. Atkinson was a cashier at Bell's and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Atkinson.
Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Greg and Kim Crane of Homer, GA, Dean and Vickie Crane of Panama City, FL, and Mark and Jean Crane of Maysville, GA, daughter and son-in-law; Stephanie and Mickey Bryant of Jefferson, GA, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, nieces; Martha Brown and Susan Archer.
Graveside service will be Sunday 3:00 PM from the Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Page and Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Casey Crane, Ryan Crane, Zack Bryant, Daniel Farmer, Shane Sapp, and Sonny Crawford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-9 PM and Sunday from 1-2:30 PM.
