Hubert "Bud" James

Mr. Hubert "Bud" James, age 80, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at BJC Medical Center. Mr. James was born in Jackson County, GA to the late Harvey and Martha Woodall James. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mr. James was retired from Jefferson City Schools.

Mr. James is survived by his wife, Frances James of Commerce, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Maria James of Destin, FL; sister, Pauline Ledford of Hoschton, GA; and granddaughter, Melody James Hanlon of Los Angeles, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, November 2 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Derry Oliver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Missions Committee, P.O. Box 37, Commerce, GA 30529. This committee handles outreach and benevolence needs.
