Della Ann Ivester

Della Ann Ivester, age 64 of Clarkesville, GA, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Trion, GA, on February 22, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Willie Lee Ray Broome. Mrs. Ivester worked for Coronet Carpet in Dalton, GA before moving to Northeast Georgia. She attended Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church. She was an avid race fan and enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Jim Ivester of Clarkesville; sons, Scott Barnes of Dalton and Howard Barnes of Birmingham, AL; step-daughters, Tina Ulrich of Kennesaw and Kim Ivester of Commerce; step-sons, Charles Ivester of Woodstock and Al Ivester of Toccoa; sister, Barbara McCullough of Gaylesville, AL; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Jonathan Fitzpatrick and Charles Ivester officiating. Interment will follow in the Turnerville Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm on Saturday. The family is at the residence.
