James Eugene "Jamie" Glaze, Jr.,

James Eugene "Jamie" Glaze, Jr., 52, of Cumming, GA died on October 25, 2010 at Emory University Hospital. Born in Atlanta, GA he was the son of Jane and James Eugene Glaze, Sr. of Cumming, GA.

Jamie was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an independent life and health sales agent. Jamie was formerly a butcher in the 3rd generation family business, Glaze's Grocery in Doraville, GA. He was also a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and Mountain Lake Church.

In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by his beloved wife, Heidi Glaze of Cumming, GA; daughter Jessica Jane Glaze and her finance, Bobby Burrell-Whitfield of Covington, GA; brothers, Randy (Lee) Glaze and Mark (Kathy) Glaze of Cumming, GA; sisters, Terri Glaze (Ray) Weeks of Dunwoody, GA and Jennifer Glaze duPont of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Laila J'Lee Burrell-Whitfield and Bianca Jane Burrell-Whitfield; and nieces and nephews, Adrian Glaze, Jacob duPont, Lillie Weeks, Brinson Weeks, Claire Weeks, Kaitlin Kelly and Sara Kelly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Hyatt will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker, GA. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, October 27 from 6:00
