Harrison Allison

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Harrison Allison of Cleveland. Mr. Allison passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness

Mr. Allison was born in Helen, Georgia on May 18, 1936 to the late William Allison and Maybelle Elliot Allison. He served with honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired DeKalb County where he served as Central Services Manager and was a member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jeannie Allison and brother Lamar Allison.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Allison, Cleveland; daughter, Karen Allison, Villa Rica; grandson, Adam Gurley; great grandchildren Allison Gurley, Riley Gurley and Hayden Baker

Mr. Allison's wishes were to be cremated and no public services are planned. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 1 :00 to 3:00PM.
