Frederick Rudolph Smith

Obituary Date: Wednesday, October 20, 2010
Frederick R. Smith, 66, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 20, 2010.
Fred is survived by his wife of 31 years, Anne (nee Childs); daughter and son-in-law Carolyne (nee Mathers) and John Britt of Austell, GA; daughter and son-in-law Allison (nee Mathers) and Matthew Ledbetter of Cumming, GA; grandsons Dylan Britt and Evan Ledbetter, his faithful dog, Spencer and many caring friends.
Fred was a loyal employee of Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville, Georgia. He was past president of the Camden (NJ) Jaycees, former Captain of the Haddonfield Auxiliary Police Assoc., member of the Haddonfield Rotary Club, and Haddonfield First Presbyterian Church. He was a prominent photographer in the South Jersey area working for the studios of Edward G. Quinn Photography, Haddonfield, NJ, and Paul Trace Studio, Woodbury, NJ, as well as Frederick R. Smith Photography.
A celebration of a life well lived will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, October 24th, at the Clubhouse of Cresswind on Lake Lanier, Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, Georgia.
