Paul E. Southers age 99 years 4 months 1 day passed away on Wednesday October 20, 2010. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday from the chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home with Rev. Chandler Anderson officiating and burial in Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Cemetery in Gainesville.
Mr. Southers was of Baptist Faith and preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dessie Sanders Southers, survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Betty and John Curtis of Gainesville; son, Paul Plott of Young Harris; brother, L D Southers of Gainesville; 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Friendship Nursing Home and Staff in Cleveland, GA and the staff of Odyssey for all their Love and support and dedication for their outstanding care given to Mr. Southers.
