Richard "Alan" Hardemon

Richard "Alan" Hardemon, 41, of Suwanee, GA passed away on October 12, 2010. Born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Edward Hardemon, and Lester Robert Hardemon.

Alan was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Springstead High School in Springhill, FL and went on to graduate from and play football for the Air Force Academy. While in the Air Force he received Air Force Commendation with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, and the National Defense Service Medal. Upon completion of his service in 2000, he began consulting and worked for Data Path, Rolls Royce, and Deloitte.

He is survived by his wife, Lona Hardemon of Suwanee, GA; parents, Bobby and Mahaley Hardemon of Springhill, FL; son, Andrew Hardemon of Suwanee, GA; son, Ian Hardemon of Suwanee, GA; son, Ethan Hardemon of Suwanee, GA; daughter, Kaitlyn Stephanie "Stevie" Hardemon, of Suwanee, GA; and granddaughter, Zoey Isabella Rowland of Suwanee, GA.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at McKendree United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.
