Dow Reid

Dow Reid, age 56, of Cumming, Ga., passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010.

Dow was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his son, Patrick Dow Reid; his grandparents, Clifford and Viola Reid, Bill and Ina Elrod; and brother-in-law George Perkins.


Survivors include his parents, Loy and Shirley Reid; companion, Sherry Grier; daughter and son-in-law, Chevy and Jonathan Roper; grand children, Cody and Skylar Roper; sister, Donna Reid Perkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Carla Reid, Tony and Kim Reid and the mother of his children, Elaine Reid all of Cumming. Several nieces, nephews, a great niece and other relatives survive.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Hugh Martin and Rev. L.C. Bennett officiating.


The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
