Mrs. Shore was an employee of Jackson's Jewelers in Cornelia for 27 years. Following the closing of Jackson's, she worked at Michael's Jewelers in Cornelia until her retirement. Noted for her beautiful penmanship, Mrs. Shore was often engaged to do handwritten cards, invitations and announcements for members of the local community. Also, in the privacy of her own home she would play the piano without the aid of any sheet music, playing strictly by ear. As a supporter of her community, Mrs. Shore gave openly as well as anonymously to her church, local organizations and individuals in need. She was a supportive, compassionate and loving mother, grandmother and community member. She will be dearly missed by all of her loved ones and friends.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Nancy Shore Loftin and Scott Loftin of Lawrenceville, Ga., son Robert Jackson (Bob) Shore of Baldwin, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
