Mary Ann Thomas Taylor

Mrs. Mary Ann Thomas Taylor, age 77, and a native of Cumming, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010. She was a member of the Cumminettes, was a Master Basket Weaver and was secretary of the Old Cumming High School. She was awarded the Outstanding Grandmother of the Year Award, by her family for 23 consecutive years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Ruby Thomas.


Survivors include her husband, Richard Glenn Taylor of Cumming; children, Ann and Tex Erskine of Lawrenceville, Steve and Donna Taylor of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Janis Thomas of Cumming; grandchildren, Michael, Maggie, Peter Taylor and Blaire Erskine; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.


Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 11th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Orr and Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
