Frances Inez Payne

Frances Inez Payne, 88 of Gainesville died Saturday October 2, 2010.

Born in Hall County, Ms. Payne was the daughter of the late George H. and Onie Bennett Payne. She was a former resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee where she worked for Railway Express for 25 years and later retired from Volunteer Insurance Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ms. Payne is preceded in death by her sister, Nadine Payne Eslinger.

Survivors include her nephew and wife, Wallis and Janie McDonald, Oakwood; great nephews, Wayne McDonald, Gainesville; Tim McDonald, Gainesville; Scott McDonald, Flowery Branch; great niece, Lynne Bowers, Taylorsville. a number of great great neices and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 4, 2010 at the Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Bremer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Sunday October 3, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
