Jean "Nannie" Bradshaw

Jean "Nannie" Bradshaw, age 71, of Demorest, GA passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010, following an extended illness.



Ms. Bradshaw was born in Towns County, GA on April 21, 1939, to the late Garmon and Carey Arrowood Maney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Bud Maney and her sister, Mildred Foster. Ms. Bradshaw was a member of the Double Springs Baptist Church and retired from Habersham County Medical Center, in the housekeeping Department.



Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Hanson, Douglasville, GA; her sons, Terry Steven Bradshaw, Carnesville, GA and Ricky Bradshaw, Carnesville, GA; her sisters, Marie Spivey, Hiwassee, GA, Edith Dyer, Blairsville, GA, and Teresa Bohannon, Demorest, GA; 4 grandchildren, Adam Lee Bradshaw, Toni Moore, Jennifer Bradshaw, and Tray Thomas; and 4 great-grandchildren, Hailey Moore, Dawson Moore, Connor Blauvelt, and Kiersten Bradshaw.



Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Paul Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
