John E. Lamb

John E. Lamb, age 89, of Cumming, GA., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010. John was a founding member of the Settendown Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ruth " Virginia" Lamb, sons and daughter in laws; Charles and Sally Lamb, Dennis and Rita Lamb, Donald and Claire Lamb, Mike and Connie Lamb, daughters and son in law; Dorothy and Jackie Thomason, Judy and Talmadge Adams, brother and sisters; J.R. Lamb, Ruby Carter, and Irene Rochester and several grandchildren and great grand children all of Cumming.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in the Chapel with Rev. Tony Estes officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
