Deborah Louise Ransom, 60 of Dawsonville, GA passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Embracing Hospice, Cumming, GA.
She was the beloved wife of James W. Ransom of Dawsonville, GA and loving mother of Bryan J. Ransom of Jefferson, GA.
She is survived by her husband, son, daughter-in-law, Devon Ransom of Jefferson, GA; father, John T. Gilboy of Snyder, NY; sisters, Gail Hummel of Columbus, OH, Joan Burns of Buffalo, NY, Barbara Gilboy of Snyder, NY; and granddaughter, Sadie Deborah Ransom.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen M. Gilboy.
A native of Snyder, NY, she lived in metro Atlanta since 1977. She was an elementary school teacher for 30 years and retired from the Gwinnett County School System in 2009.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:30-11:30 AM at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following at 11:30 AM, Deacon Don Nadeau will officiate.
