Glen M. (Brad) Bradshaw

Glen M. (Brad) Bradshaw, age 84, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home South with interment to follow in the Memorial Park South Cemetery. Reverend Gary Cole and Reverend Don Cooper will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Bradshaw was born on October 23, 1925 to the late Robert and Eunice Bradshaw in Shelbyville, TN. He served as a Pharmacist Mate, 3rd Class during WWII in the South Pacific of the US Navy. Mr. Bradshaw was a high school biology teacher at Grady High School. He worked for MacMillan- McGraw Hill Publishing Co. and retired after 34 years. He was a member of McEver Methodist Church.

Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife, Louise Bradshaw of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Burton of Franklin, TN, son, Steve Bradshaw of Fayetteville, GA, and two grandchildren, Emily Head and Ciara Bradshaw.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McEver Road Methodist Church, 3606 McEver Road, Oakwood, GA 30566, or to the Ronnie Green Heart Center, 743 Spring Street, Gainesville, GA 30501.
