Worth Jackson (Junior) Conner

Worth Jackson (Junior) Conner, age 73, of Murrayville (formerly of Flowery Branch), GA, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his residence following an brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Dean Bryant and Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Conner was born on October 14, 1936 to the late Worth and Bertha Conner in Flowery Branch. Junior served in the U.S. Army and was self employeed. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.

Mr. Conner is survived by his sister, Geraldine LeBlanc of Flowery Branch, sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Doug Walton of Flowery Branch, brother and sister-in-law, Hannie and Wilma Conner of Atlanta, brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Mary Lou Conner of Murrayville, brother, Bob Conner of Murrayville, brother-in-law, Buddy LeBlanc of Atlanta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
