Robert Watson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death Mr. Robert Watson, age 69, of Jefferson, who passed away on September 13, 2010.

Mr. Watson was born on September 16, 1940 in Jackson County, a son to the late June and Mamie Shields Watson.

Mr. Watson was a Maintenance Man with GoldKist and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Jefferson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie J. Watson and Crawford Watson.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Theodora Bailey Watson, Jefferson, stepson, Edward Howard Bailey, Gainesville, niece, raised as own child, Suprena Bailey, Athens, brothers, Charlie Watson, Bobbie Watson, Billy Watson, all of Jefferson, 7 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Watson officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens with the Nieces and Nephews honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Friday from 12noon
