Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday September 12, 2010 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Edward Moon, 66, of Gainesville, Rev. Roger Stover , Rev. Scott Wilson and Stanley Lee officiating . Burial in Alta Vista Cemetery . The family will receive friends Saturday 2pm- 4pm and 6pm- 9pm at the funeral home . Mr Moon passed away Friday September 10, 2010 at his residence .
Mr. Moon was born in Oglethorpe County June 20, 1944 and was the son of the late Frank and Clara Mae Hendrix Moon . He had lived most of his life in Hall County and had worked for Goodyear Tire for 24 years and Rick Pruitt Auto Center for 10 years. He is survived by his wife Dot Moon, Gainesville, Son & Daughter-in-law Eugene & Rose Moon, Gainesville and 3 Grandchildren Abigail Moon, Savannah Arroya and Jade Arroya.
