Bernice Pilcher Martin

Mrs. Bernice Pilcher Martin, age 81 of Cumming, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lane Martin; oldest son, Roger Lane Martin.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Paula Martin of Cumming; brothers, Joe Pilcher of Marietta, William Albert Pilcher of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Ethelene Pilcher of Cumming; granddaughters, Alexia Martin, Stacey Green, Courtney Bruley, Ashley Carter; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.


Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010, at1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00 am until hour of service.
