Hubert Allen Dale

Mr. Hubert Allen Dale, 70 of Shuler Rd, Gainesville died Saturday September 4, 2010 at his residence.

Born in Lumpkin County, Mr. Dale had lived in Hall County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Golden Harvey and Lila Fannie Brookshire Dale. He was self employed and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law; Katie Mae and Dennis Allison, Gainesville; brothers, Edwin Carlton Dale and Elo Clayton Dale, both of Gainesville; nieces, Linda Brown Tanner, Toccoa; Vickie Ruth Rathbone, Gainesville, Angel and Marty Jarrard, Gainesville; Rhonda and Toby Bullington, Lizella; Karen and Scott White, Juliette; nephews, Jeff and Karen Dale, Gainesville; Brian Dale, Cleveland; Adam Allison, Gainesville; Joel Dale and Christopher Dale, both of Elberton. Special Friends; Whit and Anna Whitmire, Gainesville; and Jamie Aguillares and Ajuncion Ortiz , Gainesville.

Mr. Dale is preceded in death by his sisters; Ella Mae Dale Brown, Lila Grace Dale and Evlin Viola Dale; brothers, Leon Morgan Dale, Ray Newton Dale and James Harvey Dale.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 7, 2010 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kelly Woodall will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday September 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
