Benjamin Boyd Jackson

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Benjamin Boyd Jackson, 81, of Homer who died on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the BJC Nursing Home in Commerce. He was the son of the late Claude and Mittie Ausburn Jackson. Survivors include his children, Barbara Adams of Homer, Ronnie Jackson of Toccoa and Dale Jackson of Lavonia; a sister, Lucille Gibson of Homer; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Bray officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM.
