Danny Benjamin Hatfield

Danny Benjamin Hatfield, age 69 of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tennessee following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate.

Mr. Hatfield was born June 5, 1941 in Gainesville, Georgia to Carl W. Hatfield and Sadie Belle Smith Hatfield. He retired from Delta Airlines as an agent and served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hatfield was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Hatfield and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mr. Hatfield is survived by his mother, Sadie Belle Hatfield of Gainesville and his sister, Dinah Hatfield Fowler of Newnan & Lakemont, Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
