Mr. Dan Hugh Darnell, age 52 of Forsyth County (Daves Creek Community), passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010. He was a lifelong member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. Dan worked for Pendley and Pendley as a Real Estate Appraiser for over 20 years.
Survivors include his children, Holly and Jason Rich of Cumming, Bradley and Courtney Darnell of Cumming, Whitney and Kyle Hollingsworth of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Baleigh, Owen, Brent, Elijah, Ethan and Elle; parents, Lewis and Hazel Darnell of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Cynthia Darnell of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 4:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Cantrell and Rev. Scott Darnell officiating. Interment will follow in Daves Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until hour of service.
