Maggie I. Vinson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Maggie I. Vinson, age 93, of Warner Robins, formerly of Jefferson, who passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010. Mrs. Vinson, born December 8, 1916 in White County, Georgia, was a daughter of the late, John Riley Dorsey and the late, Nora Palmer Dorsey. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Vinson and her late husband, Marion E. Vinson, were longtime residents of the Arcade Community.

Survivors include her son, John Phillip Vinson of Warner Robins. Grandchildren, Diana Sedell of Haslett, MI, Christine Reed of Harrah, OK, and John Phillip Vinson II of Tampa, FL. Great grandchildren, April Mayer of U.S. Air Force Azores, Portugal, Christina Urie of Warner Robins, and Cameron Sedell of Haslett, MI. Two great great grandchildren, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Demorest City Cemetery, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating.
