Lee "Boss" Garner

Lee "Boss" Garner age 93 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday August 19, 2010. He was a lifetime resident of Hall County and Retired Equipment operator for Hall County where he scraped and maintained all the dirt roads in the county, he was the oldest living Deacon at Yellow Creek Baptist Church and a member of the OddFellows.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Lee Garner and son and daughter in law Buddy and Jean Garner.
Survivors include daughter, Dorothy Nell Thomas of Gainesville; daughter, Shirley Clinton of Gainesville; Carolyn Cochran of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Butch and Joyce Garner of Gainesville; son, Wayne Garner of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Bobby and Nadine Garner of Winder; daughter and son in law, Corine and Tom Morrison of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law, Mary Jane and Fred Harkins of Hiawassee; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Yellow Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery, Rev. Billy Poole and Rev. Ricky Stone officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Little and Davenport Funeral Home.
