Frank Wayne Stanley

Frank Wayne Stanley, 61, of Oak Avenue Jefferson passed away August 20, 2010 at his residence following a sudden illness.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Woodall officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday August 22, and Monday August 23, 2010 from 6pm-9pm at the funeral home.



Mr. Stanley was born February 22, 1949 to the late Herman and Hassie Wiley Stanley. He served in the United States Marines and was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife Dollie Debra Greenway Stanley, daughter Melissa "Missy" Stanley, son Joseph "Tank" Stanley, brothers William Swayne Stanley, and Myron Mark Stanley.



Mr. Stanley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dwayne "Buck" and Gina Stanley of Jefferson, granddaughters Devin Lynn and Bailee Melissa Stanley of Jefferson, brother and sister-in-law Dexter and Kathy Stanley of Gainesville, sister-in-law Carol Stanley of Gainesville, very special friend James Whisnant of Jefferson, a host of nieces and nephews
